TAG REPLIES + James Bond.
I have been putting them off since forever, I'll do them now. Let me think, not. I'll go reply on your blogs instead.
Watched Quantum of Solace yesterday, it was as usual awesome. My only thing, the action sequences move by so fast that it hardly gives you time to think on what has happened. And despite what reviewers might say about putting in irrelevant scenes at the beginning, I think it adds to the suspense of the scene. Movies are subjective, along with music. It's either you like it or don't. rottentomatoes.com put Quantum of Solace at 75% positive, which is not bad, considering that this is a big budget, action, Hollywood flick. It made me think and actually there's a hidden meaning behind it.
This part might contain spoilers.
If you have noticed, oil a precious commodity, without it, do we have electricity? The old Bond era, where it was focusing on the Cold War period. Gold, at that time was the most valuable commodity, but now it's oil. It gives a deeper insight and rather then people shooting each other. Secondly, it's about two-faced corporations. Have you ever not come across Shell and the the other oil companies saying that they are going green, while in fact, they are still drilling oil out from the ground. If they're really going green, they would slow down the production of oil and spearhead the green movement. But no, they are interfering with green activitists because they have to drill oil for business.
I'm being wordy today, just had to get it out. I read about it on Wiki and I think I just watched a documentary on the Cold War.
Did I mention that I love Muse and Oasis?
